What’s the difference between a culture book and employee handbook?

The two terms are often used interchangeably. But to us, a culture book narrows in on purpose, values, cultural norms and behaviours. That sort of information often gets lost in an employee handbook, which also has to incorporate policies and processes.

Can we get a digital culture book rather than printed?

Of course. You’ll sometimes hear a digital culture book referred to as a culture code or culture deck. We can make culture books thatstay digital as well as creating digital versions of books you plan to print. It’s all about the most effective way to engage your team.

Can we use just one part of the service (i.e. writing OR design)?

The3rdplace is an assembled team, meaning your culture book teamwill be shaped by what you need. Depending on whether you have copywriting ordesign resource, you may not need every part of the service. Even if you don’tneed one of those two services, a lot of the value we provide is in setting thedirection for your book and managing the project. We’ll work with you toclarify the brief before we begin.
